Anna Mila has been deeply influenced by the many cultures and countries she has lived in, shaping her understanding of adaptation, resilience, and the power of connection. Having lived in six countries across three continents, she experienced firsthand the challenges of displacement and the need for compassionate support. By first grade, she was already learning her third language, and her early experiences as a refugee and immigrant instilled in her a profound empathy for those navigating unfamiliar environments. These experiences inspired her passion for supporting children and families through major life transitions.
About Me
Anna Mila is a trained breathwork facilitator, meditation teacher, and yoga instructor with a rich background in education. She holds professional qualifications in Yoga, Breathwork, and Meditation, as well as a Bachelor’s degree, a Teaching Certificate with specialized studies in psychology, and an Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma. Her work is rooted in human development and behavioral psychology, allowing her to guide individuals in managing stress, overcoming anxiety, and cultivating mental clarity. She specializes in helping professionals and those committed to personal growth quiet their minds, regulate emotions, and make intentional life changes.
Her love for well-being extends beyond mindfulness practices—she has always been passionate about nutrition, movement, and outdoor activities, from long distance trail running and yoga to snowboarding (including four seasons in a ski town!). By blending mindful practices with physical movement and holistic wellness strategies, Anna creates personalized roadmaps for healing, personal transformation, and sustainable well-being.
Beyond her professional work, Anna has been married for 22 years and is a mother to a 15-year-old son and a 12-year-old daughter. Parenting has been one of her greatest teachers, challenging her to grow in profound ways. She now lives on Salt Spring Island, where she originally met her husband, and is dedicated to helping individuals and families build lives that feel grounded, resilient, and deeply nurtured—no matter where they are in the world.
